Not Waving, but Drowning

Apologies for lack of recent posts dear readers. Here is a raft of lame excuses: mum in hospital, me with diabetes, the V+ box, Celtic's failure to sort out a decent team over the summer break & the severe lack of promised scorchio over the same period.

I still managed to put in an outstanding team performance (although I was the little genius finding the back of the net!) 3 times last week over lunchtimes & got a few rambles in the hills.

America to Invade Scotland

The American bullies seem to have forgotten how they treat their innocent prisoners in Gutanimo Bay.

We are our own country & we can do what we like. Back off!

End of the Pier Show

Sometimes you just have to get away from it all, even if this means a 5 hour walk & many blisters.

Up in the realms of the Herons & Hawks & the big sky.

.........Wood For the Trees

Now that our Libyan guest has gone home to die, perhaps we might get closer to the real truth.

What about the hushed break in @ Heathrow Baggage that morning?

What was the CIA heroin deal & it's connection to the Jet.

What about the CIA £2M payoff to the Maltese star witness who now lives in Oz?

& On & On.............we have seen 'patsies' used so much previously by the Americans, we are not all stupid.....who really has the weapons of mass destruction..........

The Brown Acid

Last night I found myself watching 'Woodstock' again for the nth time.

It is the 40th anniversary maybe that explains why I was watching it. As it has been a while since I saw it, I was enjoying it so much. Certainly it was a different world.

Richie Havens was so intense! Hugh Romney aka Wavy Gravy of the Diggers Hog Farm always was & always will be one of my heros. May I also mention Emmet Grogan also of The Diggers whose books are still in my home library.

Lying Down Craze

Even although I have been otherwise occupied, I still found time to prove
I am up there with the trends.

Ants Are Eating My Head

The above title is by jebus & it is on replay at our pad. It kind of sums up where I am at at the moments as my week's holiday has been spent inside hospitals, clinics .......etc......

I am not complaining, it is just leaving me less time to relax & get into the real world of blogging & even my microblogging has suffered.

Ball Joints & Track Rod Ends

This past week, although I have needed the car to visit hospitals or attend clinics, I have noticed problems keeping it on the road.

For some crazy reason it wants to drive crablike along roads, choosing to drift in towards the curb.

All sorted now, until the next fault.

· Khatmandu spoilt by sickness, but travelling through the Himalayas on the roof of a wooden bus, while riddled with hep was challenging
